An apostle is a messenger and ambassador, chosen and sent out to convey the teachings of Jesus Christ to others. The term “apostle” comes from the Greek word “apostolos,” which means “one who is sent.” Apostles played a crucial role in the early Christian church by establishing churches, spreading the gospel, and providing spiritual leadership and guidance. Their mission was to continue the work of Jesus by preaching the good news, doing miracles, and strengthening the faith of believers.
