An evangelist is a person who is specifically called to spread the good news of Jesus Christ. Evangelists are equipped with a passion and zeal to share the gospel with others, whether in their local area or in distant places. They play a vital role in leading people to faith, encouraging them to repent, and joining a community of believers. Evangelists often work closely with churches to strengthen and expand their reach.

“8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”” (Ac 1:8)
“14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? 15 And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”” (Ro 10:14–15)
