What Does the Bible say About God the Creator?

God created the universe and all life, and he is also the sustainer of life. God created man in his own image and brought himself to earth as a human being in Jesus Christ. God has entrusted man with the stewardship of creation and in this beautiful creation of God we can see and perceive God. When a person is saved through faith in Jesus Christ, he or she is born again and becomes a new creation. In the future, God will create a new heaven and a new earth.

“¹In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. ²The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. ³And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.” (Ge 1:1–3)
